Collected

February 28 - March 26. 2025

Kinhouse Gallery exhibit Collected is inspired by collected ephemera, inherited stories and passed down rituals. This exhibition is an invitation to question and reflect on the objects we choose to keep and the stories these items accumulate overtime. The future artist explore what it means to hold onto care for and repurpose, collected images, fabric scraps, and discarded materials finding ways to honor what came before, and allowing new traditions to emerge in the form of art.

Guest Speaker

March 10, 2026

Artists of all skill levels and mediums are welcome, so come join the conversation, connect with fellow creatives, and share in an evening of inspiration and community. I will be speaking about my journey as an artist and how to use art to heal and express big emotions in a healthy way. I challenge the boundaries of photography as a concept rather than a tool. As a group, we will all use our hands and test some techniques with materials that will be provided. We will be exploring how photography and photographic materials can help guide this practice.

Lineage Opening Reception - The Pool

August 8- September 9, 2025

Lineage is a body of work that explores the roles of women through the lens of lineage, domesticity, and craft. Rooted in personal experience as a mother, daughter, and artist, my work draws from tactile, familiar materials—doilies, silverware, vintage photographs—and reimagines them as vessels of memory, labor, and care. The title honors and pays tribute to the women in my family while reflecting on my own evolving role—and my daughter’s—in today’s society.

Good Morning/Mourning America - Gallery 440

August 21-28,2025

The materials used to create this piece began during my MFA thesis, a time of deep experimentation with materials as I investigated themes of generational change, femininity, home, family, and the roles women inhabit. The process left me with piles of scraps—fragments of fabric and material that felt unfinished, unresolved. A week before my graduation, my favorite mentor and teacher, the person who challenged, inspired, and championed my work, passed away unexpectedly. Those scraps suddenly transformed into something more: a physical reminder of her presence, her absence, and the unfinished conversations we never had.
