Twice a year, the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA) invites the community to take in the visual arts and our community’s unique cultural richness during Gallery Night in Fort Worth. This year Kimberlea Bass is the featured artist at The Pool Near Southside. She is featuring her exhibit, Lineage. Inspired by objects once central to domestic life but now discarded, Lineage seeks to resor their significance in a contemporary context. By combining 2D and 3D elements, the exhibition honors overlooked traditions of women’s craft, once dismissed as decorative, and bring them into the gallery space as symbols of care and resilience.
