“So encouraged to see all the variety of creative expression in this show! It’s easy to tell that these artists are having fun with their work. - It’s also easy to see the seriousness in which each artist approaches their craft. The total 2025 prize amount is $15,000, with an exciting $10,000 first prize, newly named the Edmund Craig Memorial Award. The Edmund Craig Memorial Award  honors the memory and legacy of Kenneth Craig Johnson and Stan Edmund Sewell, who were great supporters of the arts. The award includes $10,000 to the award recipient and the opportunity to exhibit at Artspace111 in a separate solo or group exhibition in 2026. This prestigious accolade stands as one of the largest financial awards for artists in Texas, celebrating the talent and creativity of artists across the region.
